FOR NEW BEGINNER CLASSES INFORMATION PLEASE SEE BELOW
Jan teaches beginners, intermediate and advanced levels of Body Control Pilates®matwork.
Classes have a max of 12 people and run in blocks of 6-10 weeks,
payable in advance on a
session basis (not drop-in) Clients have the flexibility to make up
missed classes. Jan works with other local high caliber (primarily
other Body Control Pilates Instructors and Stott Pilates Instructors) Brighton
teachers to provide cover for their classes and employs them to cover
hers on the few occasions she is unable to teach herself.
Pre and post natal conditions are
accommodated within classes and are recommended by health professionals
(see testimonials).
Jan is happy to teach classes specifically for elderly clients and those with special needs.
Jan is
training to be a "Back4Good" pilates instructor which will give her a
Level 4
REPs qualification in Back Care. Once qualified she will be
working with very early stage back rehabilitation clients on a 1:1
basis and working with very small groups. "Back4Good" is a registered
trademark approved by Skills Active and aligned with the NICE
guidelines. It is owned by the Body Control Pilates Association.
All classes last an hour.
